Thanks to John Romans, Dixie Marine and the Kentucky Bass Federation for finally pushing the right buttons to continue stocking largemouth in the Ohio River.
We had five boats meet the Kentucky DNR hatchery truck at Bryant's Creed Wednesday afternoon and we were able to successfully distribute 29,000 bass
fingerlings in the creek and basin. According to the KY DNR, 90% of the ten and eleven inch fish we were catching last fall were from last year's
stocking efforts. Other creeks being stocked include Craigs Creek, Goose Creek, Arnold's Creek and Tanners Creek. These efforts will go a long way in
improving our fishery on the Ohio...................It's good to keep in mind that our KBF is more than just four tournaments a year!
