Here we go again with the whinin and bitchin. I am gonna say this one time and one time only....
The 2009 State Team consisted of the following.
Boaters: Gary Morrison, Gerald Smith, Karl Snyder, Mark Cooper, Randy Findley, and David Applegate.
Non Boaters: Stewart Weber, Jonathan Sydnor, Nick Schaefer,
Harvey Snowden could not meet contract obilgations and was replaced with Barry Ward
Steve Scott could not meet contract obligations and was replaced with James Collier.
Brad Schmittou was the remaining non boater.
The Board of Directors last fall voted that the 13th man or Alternate would be the # 7 man on the boater side from the Championship tournament. this was Roy Gentry. Roy Gentry was replaced because of not being able to meet contract obligations. Next in line on the boaters list form the state tournament was Chad Ramsey, then Frank Mastey, both were called to replace Roy and both gentlemen informed me they could not make the event. Greg Hoskinson was the next boater on the list to become the alternate. Therefore when Skeeter James informed me that because of a arm injury that he could not make it, Hoskinson was moved to replace Mr James. the Next Boater in line to become the alternate was Mike Braun. He became the Alternate. Then after the entry form deadline by TBF, Brad Schmittou informed me that due to his job that he had to withdraw and could not go. Upon this occurence, the alternate Mike Braun was then activated as a non boater. this made me Donnie Keeton the next alternate. What most membership cannot seem to get thru their hard skulls is the fact that after the DEADLINE date for entry forms at TBF, no other member can be added.
I am sorry if you cannot understand this.... but i don't know any simplier way to explain it. Again this is the same case in point from a year or so ago when some got irritated and the bottom line is again they dont want to follow procedure....just want who know what.
