Donnie - Thanks for your explanation as to how this transpired. I am sure that this explanation explains to everyone how the replacements to the State Team were selected. Since we have returned, I have had several people call me and ask me two questions: 1 - How did a boater become a non boater on the State Team? You explained that fully and thoroughly. 2 - Why have the State Tournament results from 2008 disappeared from the Web Site and been replaced with the 2007 results? This is what caused most people's questions. When people began checking to see how far down they were, they could not find the results. Thus, the appearance that they were removed for a reason.......... I think simply making sure the results are returned to the web page so that everyone sees that nothing underhanded happened will answer any other questions. With the uncertainty of Irwin Jacobs and Walmart's sponsorship, I think it is important that all members and prospective members have confidence that the organization is honest so they will want to fish with the KBF.

I also think it is important to realize that no one begrudges Hosko the opportunity to fish on the team. He did an awesome job and everyone was proud to see a Ky Team member bring 17 lbs to the stage and make a huge comeback. Everyone who has asked me about the situation expressed these same sentiments. Since I am no longer on the board, I was not qualified to answer their questions; but I could honestly say that fishin was tough in SC and Hosko did a great job figuring out how to whack em.

And, I'd like to personally thank all of the team, especially Randy Findley, for all the help given to Schaefer and Stewart with their "accident" The Nitro is history now and it was a heart breaking experience, but you guys made it easier. As always, once the team spends a week together, they make friends for a lifetime...............
