Barren level this morning is 7.4' over summer pool, dropped .5' in the last 24hrs and they are flowing 3322 CFS which is a little less than last week. I don't know why they have not started dumping it yet but it should happen any day. At this rate the lake will still be 5' over summer pool by Sunday. (They will probably open the gate at about 3:00 Saturday afternoon) The fish should be accustomed to the falling water by now so when you find the fish they should be stacked and the pattern should hold over the entire lake. New moon was this past weekend so we will be in the middle of the two phases for the event.

Fish will primarily be in a post spawn mode. There will still be some late spawner's trying to stage but they will be few and far in between. Early top water then deep crank baits, C Rig Prowler Ring Creatures and fishing Prowler big worms will be the favorite selections for quality sacks of bass. As always when it gets tough don't forget to pickup your favorite limp wristed spinning rod and 1/8 or even 1/16 oz shaky head, Prowler finesse worm and slow down. Dead sticking a Prowler Slim Jim will work on lure shy fish as well.

I will post again Friday night after spending the day on the water. If anyone was on the water this weekend or will be on the water during the week go ahead and post your most productive techniques.
