2010 KBF Schedule

Just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that the 2010 KBF Schedule is now posted under the Tournament tab. Make a note that the 2011 Southern Divisional will be hosted by KY and that both the 2010 State Championship and the 2011 Southern Divisional will be held on Green River Lake. So for the 2010 Qualifying season you will be competing for a spot on the 2011 State Team which will take place on Green River Lake in June of 2011.

Congrats Hosko. I was hearing chatter about guys from Lou not being happy about going to Maysville. I told them to talk to Hosko. That pool seems to be pretty good to ya. And like Brian said how bout Lowther! He did very well at 2 ends of the river in 2 weeks to make both the KBF & KBFN state Teams (I think he got 2nd in Carrollton for the KBFN as well as 2nd in KBF)

Congratulations to Greg Hoskinson for his win this weekend in the 2009 KBF State Championship. Greg had back to back limits that weighed in excess of 17lbs for the two day event. Complete tournament results will be posted as soon as they are sent to the Web Master.

Congratulations to everyone who made the 2010 KBF State Team. I look forward to working with you next June in AL.

Just so everyone knows and realizes. the Friday evening cookout and pre tournament meeting and Saturday/Sunday launch/weighin is in 2 different locations.

Maysville rooms

I just checked with Day's Inn to see how many rooms we had full. As of 10am Oct14 we only had 6. If we dont get 10 the rate of $58.99 is not applicable. I'm sure we have more than that reseved, but maybe folks didnt mention you're with KBF.

Please make sure to tell the hotels you're with the KBF!

And yes the meeting will be outside under a shelter. It may be cold so be prepared. The city had one indoor meeting...

I have a practically new Shimano Crucial 7'11" cranking rod---model number CRC-C711M. It's in great shape. This rod lists for $159. I am asking $100 shipped to your door. I do not need the rod and decided on using the Crucial 7'2" crankbait rod. Tried the longer rod and it wasn't for me.
Great rod for cranking DD22's or any other crankbait that runs deep.

Dear KBF members,
As most of you are already aware. On January 1, 2010 the membership dues for FLW will go to $35.00 for all Federation Members. The dues increase from FLW was made last year but federation members were locked in at $25 due to the TBF/FLW partnership agreement. The mentioned agreement is due to expire in 2010. FLW and TBF are negotiating a new agreement for the partnership. More to come on...

To Everyone Responsible: Great job yesterday on the Club Challenge!! You guys deserve a big round of applause for a very well run tournament and a very good turnout as well. Congrats to the winners and also to ANYONE who caught a keeper yesterday. All we did was cull our slot fish a few times.

I was able to get off work Friday before the Championship so I'm looking for someone to prefishing with on Friday. Also a roomate for Friday and Saturday nights.
